Angels Wings Foundation was founded in 2002 as a direct means to build and fund schools, orphanages, supply healthcare and support various issues that impact underprivileged children in Thailand. Shaped from under the wings of native Thai philanthropist, former Miss Universe, Good Will Ambassador to the United Nations and spokesperson for UNICEF and the UNFPA, Bui Simon, Angels Wings Foundation has built schools in rural Thailand and continues to supply funding and tuition for the students in these institutions. In response to the December, 2004 tsunami in South East Asia, Angels Wings has committed to constructing 100 new homes, a fleet of boats, building schools, as well as granting numerous students the opportunity to further education through full scholarships.
Angels Wings is privately funded with the exception of generating occasional events that benefit specific causes. With offices in Santa Barbara, California and Thailand, 100% of Angels Wings proceeds benefit earmarked projects and affected children.
